Getting Your Mojo Back & Dressing To Feel Confident

Hey Dolls,

I wanted to share this look with you and talk a little about body confidence and regaining your style if you've lost it along the way. It's taken me almost 9 months to start to feel like myself again after having Sienna.

After almost a year of maternity clothes and buying clothes to cover up I finally feel I'm getting my style back and feeling like me again. This doesn't necessarily only apply to woman who have had babies, Ive been through this in the past when I gained weight and struggled to find clothes I liked, fit into and felt confident in. I think one of the biggest thing for me was accepting by new body and working with what I have instead of wishing for what I don't have. I now dress in clothes that make me feel confident and comfortable and that are also stylish and on trend.

This outfit wasn't really planned, I didn't buy the skirt and top to go with each other but they just worked. If you've been following me on social media over the summer you will have noticed I'm completely obsessed with the bardot trend and anything off the shoulder. I think I like it so much because I can cover the top of my arms, thats one area I'm very self conscience about.

This skirt and top are both from Penneys, shoes are River Island and bag is Zara. You can find similar shoes here and a similar bag here.

This is a really simple look to recreate. There are so many good things about bardot and cold shoulder tops. They allow anyone who is self-conscious about their arms to cover up while still having some skin on show. For many people, having their collarbones on show is really flattering for their shape, add some shimmery highlighter to the tops of your shoulders and your collarbones to shine all day!

This look can be re-created in so many ways to suit anyone's taste. It is a really handy outfit to throw on and feel glam in but totally practical at the same time, you will feel fabulous. If you think a bardot top won't suit you or if you think you won't be able to pull it off just give it a go and see what you think!

Here are some gorgeous tops from the stores we all know and love to help you get your style back!
