Some of you might remember a couple of weeks back I popped into Aqua Beauty to have a facial. I opted for the SkinBreeze facial as it was something I had never tried and had heard so much about.
Aqua Beauty is the only salon in Ireland that does this treatment. I wanted to share my experience with you. I know some of you will want treat your skin to something luxurious this new year. This is the one for you.
The Skinbreeze facial is a 60 minute non invasive facial that helps to hydrate, plump out and rejuvenate the skin. I think I need to book in for a second one now after all the bad yummy food and late nights over Crimbo. My skin is looking a bit tired. This treatment is amazing for anyone with dry skin, ache prone skin. It is great for brightening and tightening and has brilliant anti ageing results.
The owner Michelle did my facial and it was one of the nicest, most relaxing facials I've ever had. It also included a head, shoulder and foot massage. I think at one point I actually fell asleep haha.

SO why is Skinbreeze different from a regular facial? Well I'll tell you.... Skinbreeze is an advanced hydrating treatment that fuses 5 technologies in one system that include; Orbital Microdermabrasion, LED Light Therapy, O2 Spray, O2 Infusion and O3 Ozone Therapy. Skinbreeze provides a unique crystal-free method of microdermabrasion that simultaneously delivers red and blue light therapy. The Skinbreeze orbital microdermabrasion method provides unparalleled control with 60 different levels of abrasion and uses a hygienic disposable treatment tip and is vacuum free which means that there is no dragging or pulling on the skin during treatment which is one thing I loved. it was so gentle on my skin. That is the technical terms but it felt like my skin was being pumped with light and brightness. After the facial my skin looked tighter and felt so super smooth. My makeup ever applied better :)

I was invited to Tiger Lily Beauty Salon yesterday for a Yonka facial and OMG it was seriously the most luxurious treatment I have ever had.
The treatment I received was a Hydralessence visage facial, which to you and me is a long-lasting, deep hydrating facial. It was exactly what my skin needed after the cold winter months. It is the perfect treatment to prep and plump the skin for the spring. The treatment lasted for 75 minutes and I kid you not it was the most relaxing experience I have had in a long time :)
Getting into the facial itself, the hydralessence visage is a high performance facial that revives the dullest of complexions. The Yonka products used during the facial are rich in essential oils and packed with fruit extract and green tea. The perfect antioxidant combination. Everything from the strong aromas of the creams and elixirs to the exfoliating properties of the Gommage 305 peel were perfect. Each product Niamh applied made me love the facial even more. My favourite part of the 75 minutes was when Niamh applied the second face mask, the Masque Modelant. As soon as she started to mix the mask I could smell the amazing fruit extract. It felt cooling on the skin and so refreshing, especially when she applied it to my eyes. It was so soothing to my tired eyes. Here is a scary picture of me with the face mask on haha.
I have to say I was so impressed with the treatment I received and last night when I was doing my own night time beauty routine my skin felt amazing, so dewy and plump :) I am so excited to book in for my next facial with Tiger Lily. I am going to make it my business to really look after my skin this year.

I also had my gel nails refilled by the owner Niamh and I am so happy with the way they turned out. She used a new product that changes colour with the temperature. When my hands are cold they are a gorgeous deep purple but when my hands heat up they go a fab vibrant pink.
A massive thumbs up for me for Tiger Lily Beauty Salon. Such amazing service in a relaxed and friendly environment.
