Hey Dolls,
Johnson's asked me to put their Top to Toe baby bath to the test to see just how gentle it is. They asked me to conduct the rose petal test. They claim their Top To Toe baby bath is just as gentle on babies skin as water so I wanted to see how these two roses faired out when left overnight soaking in a jar with water and Top To Toe baby bath verses water and baby soap.
One rose was placed in a jar of water with 10mls of the Top To Toe baby bath, the second rose was placed in a jar of water and baby soap. I was intrigued to see how both roses got on.
After 24 hours I checked back with the roses. The one I left in the Top To Toe baby bath was perfect, a bright shade of pink, it looked like it had bloomed even more over night and very fresh. The Top To Toe baby bath had no effect on the rose.
The second rose that was left in the jar with baby soap didn't look so happy and fresh, the part of the rose that was submerged on the water had faded to a lighter pink, the petals had started to go brown and the rose itself had closed up. There was a big difference in the appearance of the two roses.
Babies skin is so soft and so sensitive when they are newborn that we need to use products that are so gentle on their skin it would be like using water itself. After trying out this rose petal test and seeing the results myself I would have no issue using Johnson's top to toe or recommending it to all of you.
It has also opened my eyes to how some baby soaps are not as gentle as they seem and the effects it could have on baby skin.

HeyDolls,
I hope you are all well and enjoying the bit of sunshine we're having. I wanted to share this look with you all and also how I manage to be on the go most day. I find it so important to be out and about and have my own independence especially now having Sienna.
From the first week she was born I made it my business to get out, even when Chris wanted me to stay home. I just needed to get the first car ride, that first walk out of the way. I wanted to feel confident moving her in and out of the car and getting my independence back before Chris went back to work.
I know its very hard to adjust to parenthood especially when your other half goes back to work. I think the longer you leave it to do those small things that scare you, they harder they seem. I loved being out and about with Sienna and being able to go to events and do the normal things I did before she was here.
After having a baby it's often a daunting time, hormones and emotions are at an all time high and it's not just you anymore, you have a tiny human to take care of. The last thing on your mind is packing up everything and the kitchen sink and heading to the local cafe for a cuppa. I know this might seem like nothing to most of you but for a new Mam this is a huge ordeal.
My advice is to just do the things scare you, put yourself out of your comfort zone, everything always seems more stressful than it really is. Oh and always give yourself an extra hour to get ready haha. you never know what might happen! Poo explosions, spit up, feeding time!
I love being out and about and being busy, it's just who I am. I also think it is good for the baby to be out and meeting people. It will help with later on when they begin to make strange. Sienna is usually great in every situations, I bring her to events and even meetings. I definitely put it down to bringing her with me when she was really young. My mam always says we are always off somewhere :)
I hope you found this post helpful, I will link the outfit below.
