TGIF is right and today I want to share with you some AMAZING, high quality makeup at an affordable price. Sleek is by far one of my favourite drug store makeup brands. I have been using it for years, evenmwhen it was only available in the UK. Every time I visited London I was always straight to Superdrug to stock up on my much loved Sleek products.
On Tuesday, I was kindly invited by the Publicity Loft to the official launch of Sleek Makeup here in Ireland. Although it has been on the shelves of many Boots and pharmacies, we never really had a proper welcome party for the brand. I was delighted with the lovely invite and was very impressed with the event. It was so cutesy and welcoming and I knew so many bloggers and vloggers that attended. It was like a nice night out for us girls to mingle over cupcakes, Rosé and makeup. Three of my faves haha.
As the event came to an end and we all said our goodbyes, Emily from the Publicity Loft presented me with a gorgeous goodie bag. She also sent me home with a box of macaroons and an absolutely beautiful flower arrangement. If you follow me on Snapchat I am sure you have seen it by now.

Today I am going to share my top highlighter with you, some a old some are new. Let me know in a comment what your favourites are.
Ok I know I talk about this highlighter to death but it really is the best one ever. I have seen so many people mention it in the best of 2014 videos and all of my favourite and well trusted beauty blogger rave about it. I am totally obsessed with The Balm "Mary Lou-Manizer" It is the most beautiful highlighter and I wear it on a daily basis. It is so finely milled and doesn't have large chunks of glitter like most highlighters have. I just love it and cant get enough of it.

Next is a product that I also wear daily and it is strobe cream from Mac. I love this underneath my foundation or just on my cheeks on days when I don't want to wear foundation. It gives a stunning glow and really illuminates your makeup. This product can also be mixed in with your foundation to give it more of a glow.

A new product to my makeup collection is this "Radiance Boosting Beauty Fluid" from NO. 7. I have only been using it for the last month but I am very impressed. I like to wear this on days when I am going for a warmer more golden tone to my look. It works exactly like the strobe cream but is a more golden tone. I apply it under my foundation to give my skin a dewy finish.

"Soft & Gentle" from MAC is an oldie but a goodie. I love this highlighter for myself and also on clients. It goes amazing with all skin tone and it lasts forever. It have a beautiful champagne tone to it.

These next two products have been pushed to the back of my makeup drawer and I have only really started to use them again this month and realised how much I loved them. "High Beam" and "Moon Beam are old products of benefits but they are so gorgeous and have lasted me years. They blend beautifully into my foundation to give a gorgeous highlight. I love the glow from moon beam it is the more golden toned highlight.

I am loving this lipstick. It retails at €18.00. This lippie is lanolin free and includes a special blend of natural oils and vitamins and leaves the lips fresh looking for hours.
Today I have a new brand to talk about. Young Blood mineral cosmetics recently sent me some products to try out. My first impressions of the brand is very good. The packaging is stylish and looks very expensive. I tried out the lipstick and lipgloss at work yesterday and loved them. I got heaps of compliments on my lips and everyone wanted to know what it was.
Here is some background into the brand. Youngblood is the premier luxury mineral cosmetics line from the USA created by Pauline Youngblood, a former medical aesthetician.
Pauline began formulating her first loose mineral foundation, which provided excellent coverage and a natural appearance without clogging the pores.
The products are easy to use, long lasting and can stand up to heat, humidity and perspiration.
Youngblood's lightweight foundations look virtually undetectable which providing flawless, buildable coverage.
Youngblood mineral products use only the purest, most premium grade minerals. Their makeup is free of talc, parabens, oil and fragrance.
Youngblood mineral liquid foundation retails at €35.00. The deep sea hydrating complex quenches parched skin for a healthy radiance. A special blend of rare reduced salt deep sea water, botanicals and more than 20 ocean minerals soothes and revitslises skin and the pore free finish wears for hours!

Today I tried out some new products and wanted to share them with you.
If you seen my 'makeup must haves' post you will know I am obsessed with this Soleil de Tan from Chanel. I love the effect it has on my skin and love to contour with it.
I have been using different brushes with this product and think I have finally found the perfect one. The F40 from Blank Canvas Cosmetics makes applying this bronzer flawless and I love it.
This is my makeup base and I am loving this combination. I tried out the a new foundation for the first time. it is the Benefit Hello Flawless in Honey.
The coverage if the foundation is medium and it is quiet a liquidy formula. I built the coverage up to almost full coverage by applying two coats.
I have been using two new palette from The Balm that I have been using and I am in love them with. They are so pigmented and the colours are gorgeous.
I absolutely love this eye look.
I tried a brand new product to the blank Canvas Cosmetics family and it is their new liquid eyeliner. I loved it because it was a felt tip liner which I love and it is extremely black. That is what I always look for in an eyeliner

I finally got my hands on the Naked 3 palette, well my boyfriend surprised me with it this week :)
I know I know you are probably thinking to yourself why haven't I had it before now. Well it was sold out of everywhere during Christmas and to be completely honest I've been broken pretty much since then lol.
So today's post is going to be a really quick review and first impressions post on this palette
I am a huge Urban Decay fan, I think I have six of their palettes in total and every time I purchase a new one I love it even more than the last. It is safe to say that the Naked 3 is now my new favourite palette.
It offers 12 completely new shade and tones that are not that easy to come by. The tones of this palette are rose gold and that colour is huge at the moment in the fashion and beauty world.
I hear from people that they find the Naked palettes boring and that the all look the same but for me each one is different and unique. As a makeup artist I can see the different tones and shades in an eyeshadow that not everyone can see.
This is the first Naked palette Urban decay haven't repeated any shades and I love that about it.
Their eyeshadows in general are creamy and extremely pigmented but be careful their does tend to be some glitter fall out.
The variety of shade in this palette is perfect for an everyday look and I can easily add colours and darken up a look for a night time glam look.
