Hey dolls,

Can you believe I'm 28 weeks pregnant!!! I can't! Time is literally flying by so fast and I am only 2 and a half months away from being a mammy. I thought this time would go by so slow but it hasn't at all. We still have so much to do, we just bought a new car :) its so fab and huge, loads of room in the boot for a pram, we have to move into our new house and my sister is getting married soon. Before I know it baba will be here and everything will change :) I am so excited, but so nervous at the same time. So lets get into the update and whats been going on.

So what's new? I have finally started to feel like myself again these past few weeks, Ive been working loads, and going to lots of events, the little things that where such a struggle during the early months of pregnancy.  I've been finding more stylish maternity clothes and doing my hair & makeup everyday! Its the little things that make all the difference. Ive been shopping in mother care, H&M and Newlook. I found those shops have the nicest range. Its so hard to find stylish maternity clothes. Its my dream to bring out a fab range. ( Future goals)

One thing that hasn't been too pleasant and that has only recently happened is swollen feet. I worked all weekend and by Saturday evening I no longer had ankles, it went from knee straight down to toes. It was so uncomfortable and slightly painful when standing. I got some compression socks this week (if you seen on snapchat I hope I gave you a good laugh) they are so hard to put on but i've had lots of tips from you all as to putting them on easier. I got mine from Inish Pharmacy and they are designed specifically for pregnancy. Here are the ones I got.

The last couple of weeks I have found it quiet difficult to sleep comfortably, Its hard to turn over and I just found it hard to fall asleep at night. I got a pregnancy pillow and when I arrived it shocked me at how big it was. I thought there is no way I'll be able to sleep in that. I was very wrong, it is by far the most comfortable thing I've ever tried. It gives amazing back support, bump and head support and leg support. The first night I don't think I moved once. Chris is even enjoying curling up to it at night although he is complaining it's taking up his side of the bed. This pillow was a god send and even for sitting up watching TV it is amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone at my stage in pregnancy or if you're having trouble sleeping at night. It helps so much. Here is a link to my Pregnancy Pillow  they have plenty other styles. It can also be used for feeding baby when they come along.

That is pretty much all I have to report so far, I am feeling great but just a little uncomfortable in the heat. I've also been talking pregnacare vitamins and sticking to a healthy diet.

Here is a link to a video I worked with C & G baby club on

If you have any questions just leave me a comment below and Ill be back soon with another update

Hey dolls,

What a weekend of fabulous weather we had. Myself and Christopher took advantage and tried to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Today we decided to head to Powerscourt for a walk around and a spot of Lunch. It was breathtakingly beautiful and hard to believe it is right on our door step. If you haven't taken a trip out I highly recommend it.

My dress is from Mother Care, I love it. Its so comfy and flattering on my bump. And can we just take a second for the size of me, where did that come from??? Check the dress out here

Long may the good weather last.

Hey dolls,

I can't believe it, I am half way there!!!!! When I first found out I was pregnant I thought the weeks would go by so slow but honestly they are flying past.

So here I am, 21 weeks pregnant and I'm starting to feel like myself again, my energy has come back, I'm not sleeping as much and I've started to feel kicks. On Sunday I went on a long walk with Mags & her friends and when I came home I was going for a lie down and whatever way I went to lie on the bed I must have scared the baby or woke it up because I felt the biggest kick I've ever felt. It gave me such a fright and I screamed for Chris haha. I guess it is the start of the big kicks.

I feel little flutters every now and again and last week at my doctors appointment I heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time, it was the most amazing feeling ever. We have my big scan next week and I'm so excited to see the baby again.

I've also started to get organised and we've ordered our pram & travel system from Bella Baby. We were back and forth between a few different prams but finally after a lot of talk with the sales assistant we agreed on the Joolz Geo. I'm so excited but we won't get it until 3 weeks before my due date. It is a gorgeous light grey colour.

We also ordered some furniture for the nursery. We are both loving greys and creams so we want to keep to that colour palette. We order the Stokke home set which is an amazing crib, cradle and dresser and also ordered the Tripp Trapp which I've heard such good things about. They get delivered tomorrow and I can't wait to see them. It is all so real now.

Last weekend I was invited to Killashee House for my Baby Moon. It's a little break for you and your partner before the baby comes to relax and enjoy yourself, I would recommend it to anyone. It's so nice. I love Killashee House, It's where my brother got married and such a fab hotel. We enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant and the following morning I had a pregnancy massage. It was exactly what I needed as my back was really starting to hurt me and my legs and feet are starting to swell if I am on them for too long. It was a lovely weekend away and if you're looking to book somewhere for your baby moon definitely check them out.

The spa use Mamma Mio products which I have been using through out my pregnancy and I also bought their Lucky Legs cooling rub for my feet and I've been using it on my lower back it is amazing.

That is all Ive to report now but I will be back with an update soon.

Hey my dolls,

So this week I finally feel like myself again, I bought some dresses and thankfully with the weather we are having I'm getting to wear them. I feel so much more comfortable in them so from now on dresses are the way forward. I was in town today and spent the day drinking coffee, enjoying my first salad from Chopped ( which was divine) and chilling in the sun in Trinity college. It's so beautiful there. Myself and Lauren came across a fab area with the nicest cherry blossom tree so took advantage of the amazing weather and shot some looks for our blogs.

I love this shirt dress, I wore it the weekend to an event with leggings and I thought it was perfect today with these thigh high boots from River Island. You can buy the shirt Here I bought it in a size too big to fit over my mini bump because it isn't maternity. It is perfect for this time of year and I will be investing in some more. I want to stay as stylish as possible during this pregnancy but I now know the importance of comfort. I hope you like it.

My bag is Caris Closet
My shirt dress is from Vestida
My boots are River Island

Hope you like the look

Hey dolls,

Well the word is out, I'm pregnant. I'm so happy and relieved that you all know our news, it was so hard to hide it from you all. I've been nothing but exhausted since I found out and have been napping everyday. I found out mid January and myself and Chris were over the moon and soooo excited. All I wanted to do was share it with you all but I knew I had to wait until I had my 12 week scan before I could spill the beans.

So here I am finally able to share my news with you all, I couldn't be happier and so excited for the baby to get here. Everything is about to change. We need to find a new place to live and I need to buy a bigger car. A pram will never fit in a mini. It's so exciting but so scary at the same time. I guess you never think you're ready until it actually happens.

I've had such a good pregnancy so far, no morning sickness, just exhausted. Even before I found out I was pregnant I was falling asleep everywhere. It's the only thing I've experienced since finding out we're having a baby. I've been so lucky to have such a good pregnancy because I've heard of some people being so sick.

We went for my 12 week scan last week and it was the most amazing experience of my life. I was so nervous as I'm sure all expecting mothers are. The minute the baby popped up on screen the tears just streamed down my face. I didn't expect to be so emotional but I couldn't help it. I felt so relieved to see my baby and so overcome with happiness. I only wished it had lasted longer. The baby was so active, rolling around and kicking its feet and I even saw its little hand wave. It was amazing.

We got three pictures and they came out so clear, I stare at them everyday and count down the days until my next scan. I am due mid September, I won't say the date as they say you can go over on your first. I'm going to continue to post about my pregnancy and keep you up to date with everything.

Thank you all so much for your kind comments and messages. It means the world to us to see how supportive and excited you all are too.
