Hey dolls,

So Its been awhile since I blogged and today I wanted to share an exciting purchase with you all. I'm not one for designer bags or spending too much money on myself but when I seen this baby bag I knew I had to have it. I was in BT's with Lisa from Just Jordan she showed me this gorgeous Marc Jacob bag and I fell in love.

I text Chris immediately to see what he thought, I had to run a purchase like this past him. He loved it too but by the time he text back I was in the car park ready to head home. Bag not in tow! He persuaded me to head back and get it. (Like I needed much persuading haha) I don't think I've ever felt more excited leaving a shop in my life. I smiled the whole way back to my car.

I am so happy with this purchase and I know it is going to be put to good use. I will be using it as my handbag / baby bag for the next two years. It has lovely wipe proof material so any spills or spit ups with wipe straight off. It is also huge and has a nice front pocket where I can keep all my stuff. I LOVE the silver details, hardware and strap. It will go perfectly with our pram.

I hope you all love it just as much as we do and click here to check it out and by it.

Hey dolls,

What a weekend of fabulous weather we had. Myself and Christopher took advantage and tried to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Today we decided to head to Powerscourt for a walk around and a spot of Lunch. It was breathtakingly beautiful and hard to believe it is right on our door step. If you haven't taken a trip out I highly recommend it.

My dress is from Mother Care, I love it. Its so comfy and flattering on my bump. And can we just take a second for the size of me, where did that come from??? Check the dress out here

Long may the good weather last.

Hey dolls,

I can't believe it, I am half way there!!!!! When I first found out I was pregnant I thought the weeks would go by so slow but honestly they are flying past.

So here I am, 21 weeks pregnant and I'm starting to feel like myself again, my energy has come back, I'm not sleeping as much and I've started to feel kicks. On Sunday I went on a long walk with Mags & her friends and when I came home I was going for a lie down and whatever way I went to lie on the bed I must have scared the baby or woke it up because I felt the biggest kick I've ever felt. It gave me such a fright and I screamed for Chris haha. I guess it is the start of the big kicks.

I feel little flutters every now and again and last week at my doctors appointment I heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time, it was the most amazing feeling ever. We have my big scan next week and I'm so excited to see the baby again.

I've also started to get organised and we've ordered our pram & travel system from Bella Baby. We were back and forth between a few different prams but finally after a lot of talk with the sales assistant we agreed on the Joolz Geo. I'm so excited but we won't get it until 3 weeks before my due date. It is a gorgeous light grey colour.

We also ordered some furniture for the nursery. We are both loving greys and creams so we want to keep to that colour palette. We order the Stokke home set which is an amazing crib, cradle and dresser and also ordered the Tripp Trapp which I've heard such good things about. They get delivered tomorrow and I can't wait to see them. It is all so real now.

Last weekend I was invited to Killashee House for my Baby Moon. It's a little break for you and your partner before the baby comes to relax and enjoy yourself, I would recommend it to anyone. It's so nice. I love Killashee House, It's where my brother got married and such a fab hotel. We enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant and the following morning I had a pregnancy massage. It was exactly what I needed as my back was really starting to hurt me and my legs and feet are starting to swell if I am on them for too long. It was a lovely weekend away and if you're looking to book somewhere for your baby moon definitely check them out.

The spa use Mamma Mio products which I have been using through out my pregnancy and I also bought their Lucky Legs cooling rub for my feet and I've been using it on my lower back it is amazing.

That is all Ive to report now but I will be back with an update soon.

Hey dolls,

So yesterday I seen the lovely Tara Makeup make some energy balls on her snapchat & today I decided to attempt them. They didn't turn out very ball like as the mixture was too runny but they do taste amazing. They don't need to be cooked and are the perfect snack for those on a health kick.

Ingredients

  1. Dried seedless dates
  2. Mixture of nuts & seeds
  3. Cacao mix ( from Dunnes Stores )
  4. Cacao powder
  5. Coconut oil
  6. Coconut shaving

What you will need

  1. Mixed nuts of your choice - Hazelnuts, Almonds, Pecan etc
  2. Pumpkin seeds & a Cacao Mix ( I got mine in Dunnes )
  3. Soft Pitted Dates
  4. Dry Desiccated Coconut ( to roll the balls in, this step is optional )
  5. Cacao Powder
  6. Coconut Oil
  7. A blender or food processor

How to make them

  1. Blend dates, seeds & nuts together
  2. Add two tablespoons of cacao powder
  3. Melt a tablespoon of coconut oil
  4. Mix the dry ingredients with the melted coconut oil
  5. Time to get your hands dirty and roll the mixture into little balls
  6. Roll the balls in the dried coconut

Hope you enjoyed this healthy snack recipe, they are perfect to keep in your fridge or handbag.

They are so delicious and perfect for hitting that chocolate craving.
