Hey Dolls,
If you saw my snapchat & Insta stories this week you will see I'm collaborating with The Baby Box. They are an Ireland brand and are celebrating their first year in business. The idea of the baby box has been around for 75 years in Finland and has now made its way to Ireland. It provides a safe sleeping environment for infants and studies have shown that this tradition has helped Finland to achieve one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world!

Hey dolls,
Two weeks ago my family and friends threw me the most amazing baby shower. It was such a lovely day and I wanted to share it with you all. It was held in The Stone Leaf on Leeson Street Lower, which was also the location for the Mothercare photo shoot I did with the Sunday World.
Mags & Dominique did most of the organising, all I knew was where I had to be and what time to be there for. It was so special and such a fun way to get all my friends and family together to celebrate our impending arrival.

Mags & Dominique did most of the organising, all I knew was where I had to be and what time to be there for. It was so special and such a fun way to get all my friends and family together to celebrate our impending arrival.
The Venue & Food
Mags & Dominique booked a private area in The Stone Leaf for the shower. The food was to die for and they catered for everyone. They had an afternoon tea table set up with a massive array of sandwiches, cakes and scones. They also had gluten free and vegan options. The food was delicious, especially the desserts! They went down a treat with everyone.
The Decorations
Mags ordered the personalised balloons from Project Party. You can see their full range here.
She bought the baby balloons, bunting and centre pieces from Woodies and ordered the Instagram frame from RSPD.ie Click here to see more.
I loved these cute little keepsake books and pictures.
Click here buy the finger print picture.

Click here to buy the "Mum To Be" sash
They bought the memento book & props for the Instagram frame from Mr Price.

The Games
They had some games like guess baby faces. Everyone brought a baby picture of themselves and we all had to guess who was which baby. They had a guess the nursery rhyme quiz and everyone who won, won a beauty product. The last game was guess the size of my bump! Nearly everyone guessed too big haha. Mags organised a lovely hamper from Meagher's Pharmacy for the winner.
We received so many amazing gifts, baby faces is so lucky already. I want to thank all the staff working in The Stone Leaf, they were amazing. The food was so good and they really looked after us, I would highly recommend this venue for anyone planning a party.
A massive thanks to Mags, Dominique, my family & friends for making me feel so special. It was such a lovely day and one I will cherish forever.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. Not long now till Baby Faces is here.

Hey dolls,
So Its been awhile since I blogged and today I wanted to share an exciting purchase with you all. I'm not one for designer bags or spending too much money on myself but when I seen this baby bag I knew I had to have it. I was in BT's with Lisa from Just Jordan she showed me this gorgeous Marc Jacob bag and I fell in love.

I text Chris immediately to see what he thought, I had to run a purchase like this past him. He loved it too but by the time he text back I was in the car park ready to head home. Bag not in tow! He persuaded me to head back and get it. (Like I needed much persuading haha) I don't think I've ever felt more excited leaving a shop in my life. I smiled the whole way back to my car.
I am so happy with this purchase and I know it is going to be put to good use. I will be using it as my handbag / baby bag for the next two years. It has lovely wipe proof material so any spills or spit ups with wipe straight off. It is also huge and has a nice front pocket where I can keep all my stuff. I LOVE the silver details, hardware and strap. It will go perfectly with our pram.
I hope you all love it just as much as we do and click here to check it out and by it.

Hey dolls,
If you've watched my snaps this morning you'll know I haven't been feeling great. Today is the first day I've felt any negativity being pregnant. I love being pregnant, don't get me wrong, but today I just feel fat!!! The past couple of days I've been going through my wardrobe and each day everything seems to feel a little tighter. It's so disheartening but also very uncomfortable to feel this way.
I am still at the stage where I don't really look pregnant. I look chubby and as if I've put on a few pounds. I can't wait until I actually get a bump and am able to wear maternity jeans. I've started wearing maternity leggings from H&M which are so comfortable.
I know some of you are probably feeling this way too. I know so many of you all are pregnant too and at some point might get to this stage where you just don't feel comfortable in your skin. I've spent so long trying to keep my weight down and know having it creep back up is something I wasn't ready for.
I say to friends, family and Chris that I don't feel great and that I feel fat and I get the same answer, Yes but your pregnant. Sometimes its hard to except that your body is going to change in such a short space of time. Coming to terms with your new body and embracing it is probably the biggest thing I have to face during this change.
I suppose this is me just venting my feelings and hoping that some of you are feeling this way too. I hate talking negative about the whole experience because I wouldn't change a thing and I love being pregnant but when you can't find anything to wear it just gets to me.

Hey Dolls,
This morning we had an appointment with our consultant, everything is looking good and all my bloods came back clear. We had the most amazing surprise with a mini scan. I didnt think we'd have a scan during this appointment but when the mid wife asked me to pop on the table I was so excited, baby is waving and kicking like mad, although I cant feel anything yet. She said the baby is measuring the size of a 17 week old baby and that my placenta is quiet low but she said that is normal and all should fix it self out. She also advised I stop talking folic acid and wait until I am 20 weeks to start talking pregncare. I've to visit my GP in 4 weeks and have my 22 week scan in May. I cant wait to see the baby again. My bump us starting to form now and I am loving it. That is it for the baby update now I want to share some of the things I love to get for the baby.
I absolutely love this moses basket, it is the nicest one I've seen to date and its from Mothercare

I love these baby bean bags, two friends of mine used them and thought they were amazing. you can buy it here
I want the baby's room to be white and grey with a hint of pink or blue depending and I love this sleigh cot from Bella Baby
I hope to breast feed so I really want one of these nursing rocking chairs, I dont want to feed in bed as I will be more likely to fall back asleep so theses chairs are ideal. This is from Bella Baby
I also really like these pillows for when I am up and feeding, it keeps the baby in a good position and keeps them comfortable. This is from Mothercare
I really like this plain white dress that is also a changing table too. This one is from Bella Baby
I think I have the basics cover for now and I am sure I will spot more things as the weeks go by. Myself and Chris are heading to the Baby & Pregnancy fair so I will see lots I want to pick up.
Hope you enjoyed.

Hey dolls,
Well the word is out, I'm pregnant. I'm so happy and relieved that you all know our news, it was so hard to hide it from you all. I've been nothing but exhausted since I found out and have been napping everyday. I found out mid January and myself and Chris were over the moon and soooo excited. All I wanted to do was share it with you all but I knew I had to wait until I had my 12 week scan before I could spill the beans.
So here I am finally able to share my news with you all, I couldn't be happier and so excited for the baby to get here. Everything is about to change. We need to find a new place to live and I need to buy a bigger car. A pram will never fit in a mini. It's so exciting but so scary at the same time. I guess you never think you're ready until it actually happens.
I've had such a good pregnancy so far, no morning sickness, just exhausted. Even before I found out I was pregnant I was falling asleep everywhere. It's the only thing I've experienced since finding out we're having a baby. I've been so lucky to have such a good pregnancy because I've heard of some people being so sick.
We went for my 12 week scan last week and it was the most amazing experience of my life. I was so nervous as I'm sure all expecting mothers are. The minute the baby popped up on screen the tears just streamed down my face. I didn't expect to be so emotional but I couldn't help it. I felt so relieved to see my baby and so overcome with happiness. I only wished it had lasted longer. The baby was so active, rolling around and kicking its feet and I even saw its little hand wave. It was amazing.
We got three pictures and they came out so clear, I stare at them everyday and count down the days until my next scan. I am due mid September, I won't say the date as they say you can go over on your first. I'm going to continue to post about my pregnancy and keep you up to date with everything.
