Urban Decay Summer Collection

Hey Dolls,

I wanted to share with you all the amazing time I had at the #UDGetaway. A small group of bloggers where invited to have an over night stay for the launch of Urban Decay's summer collection. It was so much fun and in the cutest little estate in Tankardstown house. I had a little cottage all to myself and it was so gorgeous. I could have stayed there for a week.

When I arrived I chilled out in my cottage until Lauren got there, then we headed to the house to chill, drink tea and talk blog stuff. At 7pm we all met up together to take a look at the new collection, it was stunning. I always love what Urban Decay release, they have some of my favourite products.

We then headed to the Brabazon restaurant for an amazing 7 course meal. I was stuffed and headed to head at midnight while some of the others stayed up later to enjoy some drinks, if only I could haha.

Take a look below and they are being released today.

Get yourself to the nearest UD counter and pick up some if these fab products.

IM PREGNANT!!!!!

Hey dolls,

Well the word is out, I'm pregnant. I'm so happy and relieved that you all know our news, it was so hard to hide it from you all. I've been nothing but exhausted since I found out and have been napping everyday. I found out mid January and myself and Chris were over the moon and soooo excited. All I wanted to do was share it with you all but I knew I had to wait until I had my 12 week scan before I could spill the beans.

So here I am finally able to share my news with you all, I couldn't be happier and so excited for the baby to get here. Everything is about to change. We need to find a new place to live and I need to buy a bigger car. A pram will never fit in a mini. It's so exciting but so scary at the same time. I guess you never think you're ready until it actually happens.

I've had such a good pregnancy so far, no morning sickness, just exhausted. Even before I found out I was pregnant I was falling asleep everywhere. It's the only thing I've experienced since finding out we're having a baby. I've been so lucky to have such a good pregnancy because I've heard of some people being so sick.

We went for my 12 week scan last week and it was the most amazing experience of my life. I was so nervous as I'm sure all expecting mothers are. The minute the baby popped up on screen the tears just streamed down my face. I didn't expect to be so emotional but I couldn't help it. I felt so relieved to see my baby and so overcome with happiness. I only wished it had lasted longer. The baby was so active, rolling around and kicking its feet and I even saw its little hand wave. It was amazing.

We got three pictures and they came out so clear, I stare at them everyday and count down the days until my next scan. I am due mid September, I won't say the date as they say you can go over on your first. I'm going to continue to post about my pregnancy and keep you up to date with everything.

Thank you all so much for your kind comments and messages. It means the world to us to see how supportive and excited you all are too.

My Top 5 Foundations

Hey Dolls,

I wanted to share my top 5 foundations as it's my most frequently ask question. I'm a big believer in spending money to get the best out of what you're looking for. Sometimes the more affordable foundations just don't last.

1. On my list is Dior Star foundation, it gives amazing coverage, has an amazing staying power and just looks great all the time. It is not drying on the skin and doesn't go shiny through out the day. It has been my top foundation for a few months now.

2. Is a new one for me, the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk was recommended by Pippa O'Connor and Tara Makeup so I knew it was going to be good. I finally gave in and purchased it a few weeks ago and I'm so glad I did. I've been wearing it almost everyday and I love it so much. It gives the perfect coverage and just looks beautiful on the skin.

3. Chanel Vitalumière Aqua has been a favourite for over a year now, it's medium coverage and feels so light weight on the skin. It's amazing on brides and more mature skin. It just feels and looks amazing. A small amount goes a long way.

4. I recently started to wear Liz Earle Signature Foundation as my everyday foundation and I really like it. It is not too full coverage but gives just the right amount. It has a lovely finish to the skin and is just the perfect day time makeup.

5. This pan stick foundation from Makeup Forever gives amazing coverage. I use the on top of my foundations in areas where I would like more coverage. It is soooo creamy and blends into foundation so easily. It is my favourite for cream highlighting and my night out essential.

Let me know what else you would like to see on the blog and I hope you liked this post. Let me know if there is a foundation you think I should try.

Learning To Live With Anxiety

Hey dolls,

This is something I've had to do over the past couple of years, the more I educated myself about anxiety the more I came to terms with the fact that this was me and this is how I was always going to be.

Before Christmas I went through another small patch of anxiety, I couldn't sleep properly, I was having panic attacks and I just wasn't myself. The first thing I said to myself was I need to see someone and get to the root of my problems once and for all. I booked an appointment with the Goldsmith clinic and met with the director, she was so lovely and went through my history and asked questions about how I was feeling and recommended a therapist to see.

I was quiet skeptical as I'd seen three other therapists in the past but never really gained anything from my therapy sessions. After the first session I knew this therapist was going to help. As hard as it is to open up to someone about your past and all that you have gone through it is somehow relieving. She made me see why I was anxiety and why I had been as a child, she also reassured me that I had ever right to be the way I am.

My therapy finished up just before Christmas and I felt like a new person, I had come to terms with why I was the way I am and I learned so much about myself. It was at that point when I finally knew that this was the way I was programmed and this was the way I was going to stay. I have learned ways in which to cope with stress better and I am never too hard on myself.

Being anxious is normal, most of us will experience anxiety is some shape or form, sometimes we don't even realise we are suffering. Our mental health is so important and one thing we should take so much care of. Each week we need to check in with ourselves and see are we doing ok, and remember it is ok not to feel ok.

It is so important to talk to people and if you don't feel comfortable opening up for family or friends I would highly recommend speaking to a trained professional. They have heard a lot worse then what you will tell them and they know exactly what advice to give you.

Here is the website of the clinic I attended http://www.thegoldsmithclinic.ie, it was amazing and the best therapy I've received.

I hope this helps, always remember to mind your mind and its ok not to feel ok sometimes.

Treat Your Mam This Mother's Day

Hey dolls,

For those of you who follow me on snapchat, you'll have seen that I teamed up with OneforAll to treat my Mammy dearest to a lovely day out. I know sometimes we take our Mams for granted but I don't think there is anyone out there quiet like our Mams, they would do anything for us and are always there with the best advice and always have an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on. My Mam is my best friend and I wanted to give back to her and make her feel special.

What better way to do that then spend the day getting our hair done, shopping and having a lovely meal. First stop on our day trip was at the Style club in North Earl street. We were treated to a fab wash and blow dry in the gorgeous salon. Next we headed to Debenhams where Mam picked up some fab pieces for her spring wardrobe. Last stop was a fab meal in the Port House in Temple bar. My Mam isn't that adventurous so she loved the idea of Tapas. It is the perfect date if you want a bit if everything to eat, I just love this restaurant.

My Mam felt so spoilt and loved her day out. If you cant come up with what to do this Mother's Day why not pick up a OneforAll voucher like I did and take her on a day trip to remember. They have over 7000 retailers that accept the voucher so you day is never limited.

Big thanks to OneforAll for the amazing day out with my Mam
