Hey Dolls,
Festival fashion is one of those styles that Irish gals do oh so well! Some rock boho vibes, others choose neon and glitter for festivals but one thing we all have in common for festival season is that we love to look our best and take it as an opportunity to express ourselves.
A festival is a time to wear bright colours, the summer is in and it is time to forget all your worries. Let your hair down with your bestie and have a ball feeling and looking your best!

Hey Dolls,
I have learned over the years the putting effort into my appearance always makes me feel better. As someone who suffers from anxiety and has been depressed in the past, sometimes the idea of having a shower and getting dressed is so much harder than it seems. When I was in the depths of depression I would have panic attacks at the thoughts of a shower and facing the world.
On my down days I always find the best thing to pull myself out of it is getting dressed up and putting a bit of makeup on. I don't know what it is about getting done up but It always makes me feel better. I think looking in the mirror and looking better than I'm feeling helps to lift my spirits.
I've had messages in the past from followers asking me how I manage to get up and go. Some mornings I don't feel like getting up and facing the world but once I get over the initial thought I'm fine.
After my dad passed away I made my Mam a little sign to remind her to put on her makeup everyday. Each morning she when she looked in the mirror and seen the sign she put on some of her makeup and she always felt a bit better.
Even if you're not going out I always say if you're not feeling great don't mope around the house in your pyjamas, getting into the shower, put on a nice outfit, a slick of makeup and look in the mirror and tell yourself you're beautiful. It will help, I promise.

Hey Dolls,
I am obsessed with this jumper and when I spotted it in penny's I didn't really think much of it to be honest. It was only when I got it home and tried it on did I fall in love. It's the perfect shape, so comfortable & the sleeve detail is so cute.
Dressing for your new post baby body can be hard, lord knows I know how hard. I found it so hard to adjust to my new body and it took me quiet awhile to be able to go out shopping again and to finally get my style back. I don't miss maternity wear that's for sure.
One thing I have found when shopping is going one size up then you normally would. I find buying jeans the biggest struggle. I went from a size 10 to a size 16 and now I'm only accepting that buying an 18 is more comfortable. For months I was squeezing myself into my size 16 river island molly's and it was just so uncomfortable. I find going one size up so much better, it's not only more comfortable but you feel better because you're not poured into your jeans.
I find that oversized knits like this one from Penny's the best for a post baby belly, it hides that little bump that I just cant seem to get rid of and also is so comfortable. I stay well away from cropped tighter jumpers.
Finally white jeans are acceptable to wear and I love them. They make me feel like spring is here and summer is not too far away. The baby pink of this jumper is one of my favourite colours lately and so fresh for the warmer days. If you want to shop any of these looks check out the links below.

Hey Dolls,
I wanted to share this cute maternity dress I got last week. I know maternity style isn't going to suit all of my followers because most of you aren't pregnant but bare with me haha, only 5 and a half weeks to go.
This dress is from JoJo Maman Bébé, I ordered a good few pieces from their website a few weeks back and I'm so impressed with everything I got. It's so hard to stay stylish while pregnant and this store is one of the few I found that have stylish & fashionable dresses and outfits.
They have a store on Wicklow St in Dublin & one on Princes St in Cork.
Here is their website for anyone wanting to do a bit of online shopping http://www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk
My accessories, bag & shoes are from Penny's. I got all them last week (except the hat, that's last years stock.) They should be still available in store now :) I love these little box style bags, they're super cute but practical because they fit in them for such small bags.
I love the shoes, mules are huge this season. I love this style with the back strap especially being pregnant because I feel like I've more support wearing a heel. They're so comfortable and the leather is so soft. These babies are limited edition to Penny's so if you want to get your hands on them, I suggest getting into a store near you quick!
My necklace is from Penny's and my watch is from Parfois
Can we just take a second to talk about my flowers!!!! I was looking for a pretty bouquet for this shoot but couldn't find anything like I had in mind. Of course I left it until the last minute on Sunday to find flowers and most shops just had standard bunches of flowers. I tried Jackies Florist in the Square and when I asked the florist Darren if he had a bunch like what I had in mind, unfortunately he didn't but said he could make me what I wanted.
Ive learned recently to just ask for what you want, instead of settling on something. I was blown away by the bunch he created for me. I will definitely be going back to that florist for future occasions.

I really hope you like this look and let me know what you think in the comments.

Hey dolls,
I wanted to share my hair transformation with you all because I've been inundated with emails since having my Gold Fever extensions applied last week. I had mine applied in Zero One Salon, I've been going out to Greystones for the last couple of months to have my hair coloured and cut. Finally, after months of toying with the idea of getting my extensions back in, I decided to just go for it. Long hair always makes me feel so much better about myself. I dont know how, but it gives me so much more confidence and makes my face look slimmer, haha!! If thats even possible?!
I had my hair cut into a bob last winter, I wanted it short for ages! I always do it, cut my hair off and then regret it a few months later!!! Remind me next time never to cut my hair again.
I’ve had extensions before so I know how much maintenance is involved but the hairstyle possibities are endless. You can style them how you please, use heated tools on them, wash them as you would normally and they always just look amazing.
I am useless when it comes to styling my own hair, I just cant do it. French plaits & GHD curls are about all I can do. Luckily, Dominique is unreal at every hairstyle so she does my hair most of the time. Click here to check out her blog
So most of you want to know more about the actual hair extensions I got. I had heard so much about Gold Fever prior to my own consultation. Lots of my friends have them and higly recommended them. I knew they were the best of the best when it comes to hair extensions.
They are 100% real human hair that is sourced from Indian temples, so basically, I have princess hair!!! :) They are bonded into your hair with protein bonds that don't damage your natural hair. The bonds are teeny tiny, you would never see them in my hair. They shed slightly, like your own hair would naturally. They need a little bit more TLC, you must use sulphate free shampoo, use a soft bristle extension hair brush and make sure none of your bonds get wrapped around or tangled.
Gold Fever are a premium brand of hair extensions and cost a little more than your average extensions but It’s only because they are such a high quality hair. The best way to know exactly what you need done and how much it is going to cost is to pop into the salon and have a consultation with one of the experts. If you give Zero One a call and book in with Suzie or Edel, they will advise what is best for you. They range from €595-€995 depending on how many bonds you need to get in.

My process took a little longer because I had such a blunt cut on my hair and I’ve such thick hair. The gals in Zero One looked after me, they are both amazing hairdressers and I felt so confident that my hair would be fabulous after they got their hands on me. I was right, I am complete obsessed with it.
I had my hair blow dried by Dominique’s sister Sarah last Saturday for Mags hen party, she constantly styles clients hair with a variety of hair extensions and said that mine where THE BEST she’s ever seen. She said they dried so easily & felt like silk. I was delighted hearing that from another professional that had nothing to do with my transformation process & Sarah is brutally honest so I know I can trust her :) haha.

Hey dolls,
Well the word is out, I'm pregnant. I'm so happy and relieved that you all know our news, it was so hard to hide it from you all. I've been nothing but exhausted since I found out and have been napping everyday. I found out mid January and myself and Chris were over the moon and soooo excited. All I wanted to do was share it with you all but I knew I had to wait until I had my 12 week scan before I could spill the beans.
So here I am finally able to share my news with you all, I couldn't be happier and so excited for the baby to get here. Everything is about to change. We need to find a new place to live and I need to buy a bigger car. A pram will never fit in a mini. It's so exciting but so scary at the same time. I guess you never think you're ready until it actually happens.
I've had such a good pregnancy so far, no morning sickness, just exhausted. Even before I found out I was pregnant I was falling asleep everywhere. It's the only thing I've experienced since finding out we're having a baby. I've been so lucky to have such a good pregnancy because I've heard of some people being so sick.
We went for my 12 week scan last week and it was the most amazing experience of my life. I was so nervous as I'm sure all expecting mothers are. The minute the baby popped up on screen the tears just streamed down my face. I didn't expect to be so emotional but I couldn't help it. I felt so relieved to see my baby and so overcome with happiness. I only wished it had lasted longer. The baby was so active, rolling around and kicking its feet and I even saw its little hand wave. It was amazing.
We got three pictures and they came out so clear, I stare at them everyday and count down the days until my next scan. I am due mid September, I won't say the date as they say you can go over on your first. I'm going to continue to post about my pregnancy and keep you up to date with everything.
