Hey Dolls,

I've been getting asked a lot lately what the top baby products we've bought for Sienna are so I thought I would share them with you today. Having a baby is  very expensive so here are some of the best things we've bought and what helped us through the first 5 months of her life.

Up first has to be the cocoonababy, it helped sienna sleep so well and we found it to be one of the best products. We used it straight away and she slept soundly in it.

The only downside is you can only use it up to 4 months. I would have love if it lasted a bit longer as she was so comfortable. You can buy it here

Up next is the bean bag we had for her. It isn't the exact one but its very similar. I found it so handy to pop her into in any room in the house and she could sleep and it is super cosy. It's light weight so I could move it around wherever I was going.

Yet again one downside is she grew out of it quickly. You can buy it here

A pattern of places for Sienna to sit seems to be developing but they really are some of the handiest products we bought. This seat is perfect for her sitting and eating her breakfast and sitting on the floor playing. I also feel like this upright position is helping her build some strength in her back with will help her to sit on her own soon. you can buy it here

Bath time was a struggle at the beginning but since getting the Shnuggle bath Sienna absolutely loves bath time. It helps her sit upright on her own so she is free to move around as she likes. You can buy it here

Since sienna has started to wean onto foods I've found this feeder amazing, it helps her to try new fruits and veg and start to hold it herself. You can buy it here

Up next is my pram. It took us the longest time to choose the right pram. Who knew it would be such a hard decision but I am so thrilled with the one we picked. It is super lightweight and easy to take apart and pop in the booth of my car. You can buy it here

Here carseat is one of the nicest things we have for her. Unfortunately the exact one I have for her is sold out but there are lots more on the website and come in pinks, blues & universal. They help to kept her extra warm and keep the wind out. I just love it. You can buy it here

Up last is a toy we bought just this weekend but she is getting so much enjoyment out of it already. It is her minnie mouse jumper and she loves it so much. You can buy it here

I hope you found this post helpful. They are just some of out favourite products we bought Sienna.

Hey dolls,

Over the last few month I've been trying my best to keep healthy and shed the last few stone in baby. It's not always easy to eat healthy, I can admit a dominos is quiet tempting but I've swapped pizzas for healthy organic fruit & veg thanks to Lidl's new range.

Tonight myself and Chris filled a trolley full of healthy fruits, vegetables, meats and snacks. I've been very good throughout January and I will continue on into February.

I have my meals planned out for each day and snack to go with each meal. I think I bought every fruit Lidl had to offer. The organic oranges caught my eye on the way in as they are only 49cent. I bought the ingredients to make a hearty vegetable soup and every vegetable that goes into a stir fry. There is no way I can slip now that my fridge is stocked with only the best.

For snacks I picked up some of the organic chocolate covered rice cakes. They are some of my favourite snacks and I am dying to try their chocolate & coconut rice cakes. I also stocked up on a mixture of nuts to snack on. I keep a jar full of nuts so when I open the biscuit press they are the first thing I see.

Lidl has lots of healthy tips and recipes over on their website. http://www.lidl.ie The fakeaway section caught my eye and I will definitely be cooking their guilt free pizza and prawn curry. They also have a health and fitness section with lots of exercise tips and they have lots of exercise equipment and fitness gear in store.

I hope your January was as good as you hoped it would be and you are sticking to those New Years Resolutions. Lets stick together this February and be just as healthy. Check out Lidl's organic range which is in stores from today for a limited time.

Hey Dolls,

New year, new me - as the saying goes. I've decided to set myself a small challenge to keep me going for the first quarter of 2017. After having Sienna I wanted to get my fitness level back to where it was prior to pregnancy. I thought the Great Ireland Run would be a great start. It is only 5k so it is very manageable. For the more athletic out there, there is also the 10k run.

I wanted to start slow and build my fitness as I feel like I've a new body post baby. It's hard getting back into running but I'm finding the training plans available from the Great Ireland Run, a great tool. I'm taking it slowly, and following the 12 week plan. I've just finished my first week and it was more enjoyable than I thought. For everyone else taking part or thinking about taking part, there is still time with over 10 weeks to go to the event. Just remember to take it day by day, small goals.

I knew getting back to the gym and being more active would be a struggle but I think following small goals really helps. Seeing the small bit of progression each time really encourages me to keep going. I’m also fundraising for Tallaght Cancer Support Group, a cause very close to my heart. Having that as motivation is also working.

I’m really excited for the day itself. I’ve heard it's great day out for all the family, with kids races and entertainment. It’s not just a good excuse to get off the couch and stick to the new years resolutions we make each year.

I would love if my followers got involved and signed up with me to do the run. Let’s all support each other. Here is the link to sign up www.greatirelandrun.org

If you would like to sponsor me and donate to the Tallaght Cancer Support group check out my go fund me page. https://www.gofundme.com/great-Ireland-run

I hope you will join me in the run and best of luck with the training.

Hey dolls,

As I'm sure some of you are aware I had a bit of backlash and negativity this weekend over pumping my breast milk after a night out. I did my calculations and left it 9 and a half hours before pumping but some people had to have their say. And then to be removed from a support group for a complete mistake was the icing on the cake. I decided to take a short break from snapchat to have some head space but don't worry, by the time you read this I am probably back snapping away.

I don't want to keep addressing it but I just felt I had to come here and thank all of my amazing followers. I'm blown away by the amount of support I've received over the last 24 hours. My phone hasn't stopped and my inbox is filled with hundreds of emails from you all. I don't know how I will get around to reading them but I will and I'm sorry if you don't get a reply but just know I appreciate each and every one of you.

Like the titles says, I am her mother and since becoming a mother 8 weeks ago I've had an overwhelming need to protect her. As a first time Mam I'm learning with each day and that is what parenthood is all about. Not one parent out there is perfect but we do the best by our kids. Since having Sienna and even while I was pregnant I had so many people tell me to take everyones advice with a pinch of salt and that people will give you advice and criticism whether you like it or not. What I have learned in the last 8 weeks is to take each day as it comes, enjoy each smile and goo and to just go with my gut. I haven't read the "manual" but from the moment she was born my mothering instinct kicked it. I know for a lot of people they find it so difficult in the beginning and that is so normal. It is a life changing experience. Birth alone takes weeks to get over, especially if you were like me and had any sort of traumatising experience.

What I am trying to get at here is each persons experience is different, each child, each baby and each family is different. No one has the right to pass comment, judgment or criticise you for how you do things. If you are the type of person that does pass comment or feels the need to direct negativity towards others then I encourage you to take a look in the mirror and ask yourself why. What benefit is there in being negative to others, does it make you happy? Does it benefit the other person? Does it make life easier? No, no it doesn't. So here is my two cents, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything. Take a look at your own life and see how you can change your negative thoughts into positives ones and be a happier person.

When it comes to being a mother, father, stepmother, stepfather, single parent or whatever situation you find yourself in, know that what you are doing is the best for your child. Don't listen to what people have to say, never second guess yourself and always go with your gut!!!!

I have just set up a Facebook support group for ANYONE that whats to join. You won't be judged, you will only be given support, love & encouragement. Tell your friend if they need a safe place to look for advice or share their stories they can join the community too. The group is called Nothing But Support.

Thanks again to all of you, I honestly have the most supportive bunch of followers
